It is time to revisit the 7 Habits

I read the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, for the first time, in the year 1999.

Since, then once in a year, I end up revisiting the text and refresh my learning. Once when I was to buy the Amazon Kindle ebook version, Amazon was kind enough to offer it to me for free.

The landmark book, written by Stephen Covey, has built a super structure of 7 habits that count towards success, relationships and a meaningful life.

Here are the 7 Habits, for a quick recall:

  1. Be Proactive

  2. Begin with the end in mind

  3. Put First things First

  4. Think Win-Win

  5. Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood

  6. Synergise

  7. Sharpen the Saw

You might be from any walk of life, pursuing any career, this one book can help you bring enormous positive change. Take my word.

Don’t just read the book, live it. My current focus is on the habits of “Begin with the end in mind” and “Put First things First“.
